We’ve followed the recent rise in book bannings by school boards supposedly protecting kids from being uncomfortable. Yet discomfort can be an avenue to growth. Michel Martin discusses the issue with award-winning authors Jason Reynolds and Kiese Laymon, both of whose books have been banned or challenged by school boards around the country.
