The Emotional Reunion of Afghan Interpreter and American Vet
As thousands scrambled for safety during the U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan, interpreter Abdul Qader Zaman, who had worked closely with the Americans, was safely evacuated thanks to a friendship forged in battle with retired U.S. Master Sergeant Terry Best. Hari Sreenivasan was there the moment they reunited for the first time in a decade.
