Jamie McCourt on the Significance of D-Day
75 years ago, more than 160,000 Allied soldiers prepared to storm the beaches of Normandy to liberate Europe from the Nazis, in the largest seaborne invasion in history. Today marks the start of two days of remembrance, with President Trump joining the Queen and other world leaders. To mark the occasion, Christiane speaks with the US Ambassador to France about the significance of this moment.
