Mark Esper Discusses What the U.S. Owes Its Allies
U.S. Secretary of Defense Mark Esper is in Saudi Arabia today, amid the deployment of thousands of new U.S. troops to the country to try and visibly confront Iran. Meanwhile, the tumultuous withdrawal of U.S. forces from Syria looks set to benefit Iran’s regional ambitions, as well as Russia’s and the Syrian regime’s. Esper joins Christiane for an exclusive interview in Saudi Arabia.
