MN State Senator Reacts to Trump Calling Somali Immigrants “Garbage”
Somali immigrants are the latest targets of anti-immigrant rhetoric from President Trump. It comes amid a crackdown this week by ICE agents in Minnesota, home to the largest Somali community in the country. Democratic State Senator Zaynab Mohamed herself immigrated to the U.S. as a child.
