Nobel Laureate Discusses the Scarcity of Women in Economics

Alongside her husband and two others, Esther Duflo won a Nobel Prize for Economics last year for her experimental approach to alleviating poverty in the developing world. She is the first female economist to win the prestigious award. She joins Christiane to discuss the scarcity of women in her field and her hopes that more will soon join the ranks.
