PBS Doc on the Life of Hannah Arendt, Jewish Philosopher Who Fled the Nazis
Political philosopher Hannah Arendt, fled her native Germany during the Nazis' persecution of Jews and found refuge in the United States. Writing about authoritarianism, Arendt coined the phrase "the banality of evil.” Jeff Bieber is co-director of the new documentary "Hannah Arendt: Facing Tyranny." Bieber joins Michel Martin to discuss the philosopher's life, legacy, and lessons for today.
