Richard & David Gere on Their HIV/AIDS Activism
Ahead of World AIDS Day, 130 people with HIV/AIDS from around the world have created a collaborative storytelling project entitled “Through Positive Eyes." Academic and activist David Gere heads the project and his brother, actor Richard Gere, wrote the forward to the accompanying book. They join the show to discuss their activism and how they’ve been personally affected by losing friends to AIDS.
