“Rustin” Brings a Civil Rights Hero Out of the Shadows
The new Netflix film "Rustin" tells the story of a man central to the civil rights movement, but relatively unknown today. Bayard Rustin was a key organizer of the 1963 March on Washington, a confidant of Martin Luther King Jr., and a tireless advocate for equality.
