Lavan and Vannel Johnson are high school students and boxing champions that train at the Downtown Boxing Gym Youth Program on Detroit's east side. Lavan, currently ranked first in his age class, wants to box professionally. His brother Vannel wants to be an architect. They cite extracurricular programs as a key to success.
