The 60th anniversary of Detroit’s 1963 Walk to Freedom

Detroit historian and Michigan Advance reporter Ken Coleman joins host Stephen Henderson to talk about the 60th anniversary of the 1963 Walk to Freedom in Detroit featuring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr and Dr. King’s connection to Detroit. The walk attracted more than 125,000 marchers down Woodward Avenue and featured an early version of Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech delivered at Cobo Arena.
