Antiques Roadshow Palm Springs

...We all have a lot of FUN! Or at least we certainly did this past summer when the iconic PBS show filmed an episode for their new season in sunny Palm Springs! As the local station for the area, PBS SoCal was on the scene, giving away prizes, helping out and documenting the day. Here's a look back at how it all went down...

We kicked things off with a special reception for our volunteers, appraisers, and special guests at which Antiques Roadshow executive producer Marsha Bemko welcomed everyone to Palm Springs and gave us the inside scoop on how the show works.

The following morning, our day of filming kicked off with people arriving before 8 a.m. to have their prized possessions appraised! There was quite the assortment of antiques coming through the convention center - Some were clearly valuable, others, not so much...

And we got to meet a few of SoCal's youngest antique collectors!
