The Headhunters Perform "Butterfly"
The unique musical partnership now known as The Headhunters formed in 1973 as an American Jazz-Fusion band to back Herbie Hancock on tour and in the studio. Hancock wanted to make a band with a stronger musical components, fusing Jazz, Funk, and Rock music. The Headhunters offer funky synth-driven ripping rock compositions as well as timeless jazz standards reimagined in energetic new ways.
