NOMINATE A LOCAL HERO!
The Local Heroes program recognizes individuals across Southern California whose service, leadership, advocacy, or creativity strengthens the communities around them. Through a public nomination process, the program uplifts activists, community leaders, volunteers, educators, artists, organizers, advocates, and everyday changemakers whose important work often goes unrecognized.
Nominees are reviewed with guidance from PBS SoCal’s Community Advisory Board, a group of volunteer leaders from across the region who help support outreach initiatives and ensure the program reflects the diversity and spirit of Southern California.
