Ken Akune on Volunteering in the Army During WWII

Born in Turlock, California, Ken Akune was relocated first to Merced Temporary Detention Center and then to Camp Amache in Colorado, where he volunteered to join the United States Army in order to leave the camps. Listen to the reasons why he signed up to be part of the war.
