ALBANY’S PUSH TO COMBAT AAPI HATE THROUGH HISTORY EDUCATION
Queens State Senator John Liu is fighting to pass legislation requiring public schools to teach Asian American history after New Jersey moved to do so earlier this year. Senator Liu, who chairs the committee on New York City Education, joins us to discuss his efforts to combat AAPI hate at the state level and also where he stands on Mayor Adams' response to the crisis.
