Exploring Hate: From George Floyd to Eric Garner
The death of George Floyd, at the hands of police in Minneapolis, has sparked protests across the country. But in New York, it has also opened up old wounds brought on by the death of Eric Garner six years ago. The last few days have seen dozens of arrests, as tense demonstrations across the city have at times turned violent. Amid the chaos, the conduct of the NYPD, has again come under scrutiny.
