FAMILY BEHIND OXYCONTIN SUED
New York sued the Sackler family, the billionaire owners of the company that produces OxyContin. The lawsuit, brought by Attorney General Letitia James, alleges that members of the family used false and deceptive marketing practices to sell its highly addictive opioid painkiller.
