Analyzing New York’s Aging Infrastructure
In New York City, an alarming new report by the Center for an Urban Future, aptly titled “Caution Ahead,” found that upgrading all of the city’s infrastructure to make it safe and operational would cost more than $47 billion. Many of the city’s bridges, roads and water mains are more than half a century old.
