Bette Midler's NYRP Brings the Arts to Community Gardens
Singer and actress Bette Midler founded the New York Restoration Project in 1995 and a solution to vacant lots and limited green space was born. NYRP’s mission is to create beautiful, public outdoor spaces. This summer, the organization partnered with the Brooklyn Academy of Music and the Bronx Museum of the Arts to create Arts in the Gardens, a series of free music and dance programs.
