Rolling Stone made waves when it published an interview conducted by actor Sean Penn with drug kingpin Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán Loera. The two secretly met at Guzmán's Mexican hideaway just months before his recent recapture. The interview and the magazine's decision to publish it have raised questions and prompted criticism.
