EXCLUSIVE: One-on-One Interview with Akai Gurley's Aunt
Former NYPD officer Peter Liang was convicted by a jury in February for fatally shooting unarmed Akai Gurley. Yesterday, a judge spared him from prison, reducing the conviction from manslaughter to criminal negligent homicide and sentenced him to five years probation and 800 hours of community service.
