Greenwich Village, one of New York City’s most iconic neighborhoods, is not immune to the forces of change. Executive director of the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation Andrew Berman tells Pi Roman about his organization’s latest effort to preserve fleeting, ephemeral memories of the area in a new book of essays and photos, Greenwich Village Stories: A Collection of Memories.
