Web Exclusive! Film Gives "Trapped" Abortion Clinics a Voice
Landmark case Roe v. Wade legalized abortion across the country in 1973. This case ruled that states were prohibited from making laws that would restrict a doctor's right to decide whether or not their patient needs an abortion, barring late term pregnancies. Today, loopholes called "trap laws" have sprung up in half of the 50 states, which often times result in an abortion clinic's closing.
