Why Are More New Yorkers Moving to Israel?
For the past three years, about 1,500 Jews from New York, New Jersey and Connecticut have immigrated to Israel, according to Nefesh B'Nefesh, an organization that helps new immigrants settle in the country. It's an increase from 2004, when only 441 immigrants from the New York metro area made the move. Ido Aharoni, Israel's Consul General in New York explains why.
