Intrinsic Capacity
The World Health Organization has proposed a new concept called intrinsic capacity. It refers to the sum of one's physical and mental capacities. It comprises 5 domains; cognition, mobility, psychological, vitality, and sensory. IC refers to the sum of the physical and mental capacities of an individual, determining the functional ability combined with environmental factors and their interaction
