Peter Baker is the chief White House correspondent for the New York Times and a contributing writer for The New York Times Magazine. He has covered the presidencies of Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and is currently covering President Donald Trump. Before joining The Times in 2008 he spent 20 years writing for The Washington Post. Baker has written four books.
