Exonerated Prisoners
There are more than two million people serving hard time in America's state and federal prisons. However, this number includes those who are wrongfully convicted and sent to prison for crimes they did not commit. When, and if, they are found to be innocent, they often don't receive adequate compensation and support for starting their lives over.
