St. Mary's Abbey

Ireland is overwhelmingly Catholic, at least in name. But even before the scandals, the devotion of the Irish people to their church had been declining. And yet a profound sense of faith still burns in many quarters of that country. It is nowhere more evident than in the life and religious practice of the women at St. Mary's Abbey, in County Waterford.
