Fighting Anti-Asian Racism Amid COVID-19

On the Oct. 8 edition of the Reporter Roundup, KPCC reporters discuss locals who are countering anti-Asian sentiment in Southern California, an oncoming La Niña weather pattern and what collegiate sports teams are doing to ensure player safety amid COVID-19. 

Countering Hate 
We've seen a surge in hate incidents against Asians in a pandemic that President Donald Trump repeatedly blames on China. Josie Huang shares the stories of two women who are fighting anti-Asian racism locally.
