Reporter Roundup: Beaches Open, Election Results

On the May 13 edition of the Reporter Roundup, KPCC’s team of reporters have local election results, beach reopenings and coronavirus concerns in nursing homes. 

Reporter Libby Denkmann has details on yesterday’s election in the 25th Congressional district.

KPCC’s Jackie Fortier reports on the challenges finding out what is happening inside Los Angeles nursing homes. Restrictions are so tight that even the county ombudsman’s office can’t get in.

KPCC’s Adolfo Guzman-Lopez has information on the CSU’s decision to go online in for the Fall semester. 

Beaches in Los Angeles opened today and reporter Emily Henderson has the details.
