Hangout: Madeleine Brand Gets Twitter Advice from Comedian Michael Ian Black

Madeleine Brand has made the switch. The longtime NPR host and radio journalist is moving into TV land, and she's, well, rebranding herself on social media. The only problem is, someone beat her to it. When Madeleine signed up for a new Twitter account, she found that another Madeleine Brand had already taken her name. Not to be deterred, she reached out to her friend and Twitter "royal," comedian Michael Ian Black. We put together a Google Hangout so she could get his advice on rebuilding her Twitter feed. (This video has been condensed from the full Hangout.) You can follow our Madeleine Brand at @TheMadBrand. Michael Ian Black is @michaelianblack. Keep up with the latest from "SoCal Connected" by following us on Facebook and Google+. And tune in nightly starting Oct. 29 at 7 p.m.
