Fake News Source 'The Onion' Tackles Fake Encylopedia

Along with "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report," "The Onion" is one of the most trusted names in faux news, so much so that their headlines sometimes get mistaken for being not-so-fake.The print and online versions of their newspaper, "The Onion Radio News," and their video service, have become a mainstay of modern pop culture and politics. This veritable media conglomerate has branched out into yet another medium to disseminate their unique brand of satire and commentary. Brian Janosh, writer and deputy managing editor of "The Onion," spoke with Val Zavala and Madeleine Brand about their new tome, "The Onion Book of Known Knowledge: A Definitive Encyclopaedia Of Existing Information."
