SoCal Update

On the April 1 episode of “SoCal Update,” L.A. County is expanding vaccine eligibility to eventually include all adults over the age of 16. KPCC Reporter Carla Javier explains with cautious optimism.

Eligibility doesn’t guarantee access. While all L.A. County residents 50 years old or older are now eligible, about 1.4 million people in this age group have not received the vaccine yet. To book your appointment, a good place to start your search is My Turn, the state’s booking portal, followed by your county’s public health department, Carbon Health, pharmacy and health provider websites.
