TTC Extra: Female Justices Interrupted More Often
An empirical study revealed that female justices had been interrupted three times more than their male counterparts during oral arguments. Prior research found women are typically interrupted by men at the workplace. Women have made up on average about a quarter of the bench over the last 12 years, the period the study examined.
