Sen. Cortez Masto is the first Latina and woman from Nevada to be elected to the United States Senate. As Nevada Attorney General, she led the effort to criminalize sex trafficking at the state level. Now as Senator, she's pushing for more diversity in the Senate, to keep the Dream Act intact and a variety of other issues.
