The women profiled in the series are both foremothers and contemporaries who have served as pioneers, activists and role models. Our profiles focus on women who broke through the barriers. Some names will be familiar, others less so, but all are deserving of recognition for substantial contributions to Nevada equality in government, industry and philanthropy.
