On this trip, host Chris and Dave explore the rugged Gold Butte region in the Virgin Mountains. Gold Butte is in the southeast corner of Nevada , just west of the Nevada-Arizona border. They use Mesquite, as the base and starting point of this trip. Joining them on this trip is the show's good friend and longtime guide, Alvin McLane.
