Best Things to Do in SoCal and LA: November 3-9, 2025

Every week, I highlight a few events across the SoCal region. This week, explore artist workspaces in San Pedro, head to San Bernardino to celebrate Day of the Dead, and much more.

Art collides across continents

Pace Gallery’s exhibit “land marks” brings together 17 artists from Los Angeles, New York, the UK, Japan, Brazil and Greece in a richly layered group show. Centered on how selfhood is shaped by place and how places are imprinted by bodies and histories, the exhibition features new and recent works that trace the marks we leave and carry. Step into a global conversation on space and explore this trans-continental dialogue in the heart of LA.
