A cultural experience dedicated to our most storied card games. This residency brings together seasoned experts and coaches, curious first-timers, and players looking to rebuild their skills for our once-a-month gatherings filled with strategy, laughter, and connection.

From Bid Whist to Tunk/Tonk to Dominoes to Spades, these games have deep roots in our culture and have long been a key ingredient for fellowship and generational exchange.

What to expect when you attend: Play & Learn: Tables for both experienced card game players and those eager to learn the ropes. Culture & Community: A warm, inclusive “hush harbor that celebrates the heritage of our play traditions. Food & Vibes: Chef Binta of withBee will offer lite bites inspired by Afro-Caribbean cuisine. At the same time, Dr. Lindsay Williams of South LA Wine Club has her signature wine (and non-alcoholic) beverages available for purchase.
