    While we face one of the most severe droughts in history, daily life in Southern California seems largely unaffected. However, this New Yorker video documenting the plight of Central Valley farmers who are faced with dry wells, arid soil, and thirsty livestock is a stark reminder of how the drought ultimately affects all of us.
