Michigan residents will go to the polls on august 3rd for a primary election that will narrow the field of candidates in some very important races. Here in Detroit, there are nine seats to fill on city council. Longtime city clerk Janice Winfrey is up for re-election, and Mayor Duggan is facing several challengers in his bid to win a third term.
