Remembering Civil Rights Leaders
This week we are remembering two civil rights giants we recently lost on the same day: Reverend C.T. Vivian and Congressman John Lewis. Rev. C.T. Vivian worked alongside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and headed up the freedom rides across the south. Georgia Congressman John Lewis was a close associate of Dr. King and helped organize the 1963 March on Washington.
