Why Los Angeles is Expanding The City's Tree Canopies

The City of Los Angeles is planting trees around the city in neighborhoods that lack ample shade. Northeast Trees is one organization that is helping by training young people how to plant trees that will grow to provide relief and natural beauty. In Pueblo del Rio, a community in South Central, a tree planted nearly two decades ago provides more than shade for its vigilant caretaker.
