Left by the Ship: Some Servicemen Paid for "Wives" but Didn'
In this excerpt from the Independent Lens documentary, Left by the Ship, Filipino Amerasian writer, Robert, learns how nightclub owners were paid "bar-fines" by U.S. servicemen who wanted dancers to spend exclusive time with them outside the bar.
