The military’s use of “enhanced interrogation” techniques against suspected terrorists has always been a contentious topic, and now many of its former proponents are having second thoughts. Eric Fair served as an interrogator with a private contractor in Iraq, and his new book “Consequences” reflects on the work he has come to regret.
