Atul Gawande: U.S. is not "going to have ebola outbreak"
In the wake of the first confirmed death of an Ebola patient in the U.S., some are asking whether hospitals in are adequately prepared to deal with other potential Ebola cases. But writer, surgeon and public health researcher Dr. Atul Gawande says the Dallas case may have led to much higher awareness and stepped-up precautions that will actually improve the odds of avoiding a true outbreak.
