‘Failure of leadership’ allowed widespread church sex abuse
A Pennsylvania grand jury report this week revealed disturbing new details about widespread child sex abuse in the Catholic Church. Of the six dioceses under investigation, only Erie's Bishop Lawrence Persico testified in person.
