Could big data help asthmatics in their battle to breath?

At 13 percent, Louisville, Ky. has one of the highest rates of asthma in the country. Since 2012, an innovative project has been collecting data on hundreds of the city's asthmatics by attaching GPS trackers to their inhalers, in the hopes of helping residents better manage their asthma, as well as monitor air pollution and shape future public health policies.
