Italy and Spain shake up EU political landscape

Nearly three months of post-election turmoil in Italy ended with a quiet swearing-in on Friday, as Western Europe's first populist government took power. Meanwhile, Spanish lawmakers voted to oust the conservative prime minister and replace him with the leader of a center-left party.
